

This cocktail, named after the Mexican state of Oaxaca, is a variation of the classic Old Fashioned. It combines mezcal with agave nectar and Angostura bitters.
Recipe:
- 2 oz Mezcal KUZCA “Lucha” (Tobalá)
- 0.25 oz Agave honey
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- Flamed orange peel for garnish
Instructions:
- In an old fashioned glass, add all ingredients except the orange peel.
- Stir with ice until well-chilled and strain into a chilled old fashioned glass over a large ice cube.
- Flame the orange peel just above the cocktail to release essential oils.
- Add the flamed peel as a garnish.
- Salud!


This cocktail combines equal parts of mezcal and Green Chartreuse, along with maraschino liqueur and fresh lime juice.
Recipe:
- 3/4 oz Mezcal KUZCA “Lucía” (Ensamble Espadín/Cuishe)
- 3/4 oz Green Chartreuse
- 3/4 oz maraschino liqueur
- 3/4 oz fresh lime juice
- Lime peel for garnish
Instructions:
- Shake all ingredients with ice in a cocktail shaker.
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
- Garnish with a lime peel.

This variation of the classic Negroni replaces gin with mezcal, along with Campari and sweet vermouth.
Recipe:
- 1 oz Mezcal KUZCA “María” (Espadín)
- 1 oz Campari
- 1 oz sweet vermouth
- Orange twist for garnish
Instructions:
- In an old fashioned glass, add ice.
- Pour in the mezcal, Campari, and sweet vermouth.
- Gently stir with a mixing spoon.
- Garnish with an orange twist.
